Flu Vaccinations – Update

We are now taking bookings for over 65’s flu vaccinations. Please telephone the Surgery on 01263 768602 to book your appointment. Our main flu clinic day is on Saturday 10th October (alternative dates available).

For eligible patients under 65 with long-term medical conditions, clinics will be available once we receive the vaccinations, you will then be contacted to book your appointment.

On the main flu clinic day

If you are unwell or have any fever or coronavirus symptoms, you must not attend.

The car park to the Surgery will be closed to cars and open for pedestrian use only. Please use spaces around the village green or in the Community Centre and walk to the Surgery.

When you are given your appointment, Reception will notify you if you will be in Team ‘A’ or Team ‘B’. This means we would like you use the entrance to the building that corresponds to what team you are in.

  • Team ‘A’ will enter through the Dispensary end of the building and exit via the fire exit door (located left of the main entrance doors)
  • Team ‘B’ will enter through the main doors and exit via the staff entrance door (located at the right hand end of the building)

There will be 2 one-way systems in place.

We would appreciate the wearing of face coverings unless you are unable to do so due to medical reasons.

Please ensure you wear short sleeved clothing so we have quick and easy access to your arm injection site. If you do not arrive in adequate clothing you may be turned away and asked to rebook your appointment for another time.

We will be unable to discuss any other medical queries or book appointments on the day. Each appointment only lasts 2.5 minutes and is to administer the flu vaccination.
