Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

NHS health checks

If you are aged between 40 and 74 you could be eligible for a free health check.

The check is to assess your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease or diabetes. If there are any warning signs then, together, we could do something about it.

The check involves a simple blood test and a 20 minute appointment, with one of our healthcare assistants. The check is based on straightforward questions and measurements such as sex, age, family history, weight and blood pressure.

Following the check, you will receive free personalised advice about what you can do to stay healthy or improve on your current life style.

If you wish to have a health check, please use our request an appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant form. Alternatively, you may phone the practice by visiting our contact us page.

Advice and information on contraception is provided by our practice nurse Sally. She is also able to provide free condoms.
